Ballard Respiratory and Rehab Center allegedly failed to prevent man from falling

CHICAGO — A man is suing Ballard Respiratory and Rehab Center and Landmark of Des Plaines Rehab and Nursing Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Darrin Boykin filed a complaint on Feb. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he suffered multiple falls that allegedly contributed to the deterioration of his health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist him to prevent him from falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Kelly Sabo Gaden of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates in Chicago.
