VHS Westlake Hospital Inc., others allegedly failed to provide proper medical care

A woman is suing VHS Westlake Hospital Inc., Westlake Hospital Inc., Vanguard Westlake Hospital and Unity Health Westlake Hospital for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

CHICAGO — A woman is suing VHS Westlake Hospital Inc., Westlake Hospital Inc., Vanguard Westlake Hospital and Unity Health Westlake Hospital for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Hillary Danglade filed a complaint on March 7 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained severe and permanent injuries in 2016 when defendants allegedly failed to monitor her I.V. to make sure it was properly delivering medication and fluids.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Scott B. Wolfman of D&W Law Group in Chicago.
