Walgreens allegedly gave woman wrong prescription

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Walgreens for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Dorothy Love filed a complaint on March 2 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant provided her with the wrong prescription.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she sustained severe medical injuries on March 17, 2016, including seizures and loss of consciousness, after she allegedly was given a mixture of prescriptions. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to properly monitor its staff to make sure they provided her with the correct prescription.
