CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Franciscan St. James Health - Chicago, Dr. Savio George Manatt and Boulevard Medical Associates S.C. for wrongful death and allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Gary Lagesse, independent administrator of the estate of Harold L. Lagesse, filed a complaint on March 7 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Harold Lagesse in Dec. 2012 suffered a fall that allegedly caused serious physical injuries. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Lagesse to address his risk of falling.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus interest and court costs. He is represented by Marc E. McCallister of McCallister Law Group LLC in Chicago.
