Caledonia Senior Living & Memory Care allegedly failed to prevent woman from developing pressure ulcers

CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing the Caledonia Senior Living & Memory Care for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Kevin Votava, next of kin and independent administrator of the estate of Eileen Votava, filed a complaint on March 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Eileen Votava developed  pressure ulcers that allegedly contributed to the deterioration of her overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise Votava and check her for any signs of pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court and court costs. He is represented by George G. Argionis and Al Koritsaris of Argionis & Associates in Chicago.
