CHICAGO — A woman is suing St. Anthony Hospital for wrongful death and allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Sherry Kitchen, special administrator of the estate of Sarah Roseberry, filed a complaint on March 14 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly diagnose and treat Roseberry's symptoms after she presented herself in 2016 to the emergency department at the hospital with chest pains, resulting in heart failure and death.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Larry R. Rogers Jr. of Power, Rogers & Smith LLP in Chicago.
