CHICAGO — A woman is suing the Home Depot, and three individuals for alleged defamation.
Sneha Jethva filed a complaint on March 12 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants made false and derogatory statements about her to damage her reputation.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she was fired due to allegedly being accused of saying that two other employees "were sleeping together." The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to conduct a thorough investigation as to who spread the rumors.
