CHICAGO — A woman is suing Fitness International LLC for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Ellen Gardner filed a complaint on March 16 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she was struck on her head by weights, which allegedly caused her to sustain serious injuries. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to warn her about the defective nature of its equipment.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $30,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Scott A. Blumenshine of Blumenshine Law Group in Chicago.
