CHICAGO — A woman is suing Amtrak for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Jeri Khaghani filed a complaint on March 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained serious injuries to her left foot and back on April 11, 2015, when her foot went between a train and platform while she allegedly was stepping through an open service side door.
