CHICAGO — A man is suing Palos Health, also known as Palos Community Hospital, for alleged discrimination and wrongful termination.
Alonzo Davis filed a complaint on March 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he was treated differently at work and allegedly was terminated due to his race and age. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly allowing its employees to discipline him more severely, making him work more overtime hours and treating him poorly due to his race. The plaintiff also claims he was replaced by a younger individual.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks wages and benefits, back pay, front pay, interest, compensatory damages, injunction, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Frank Avila of Avila Law Group LLC in Chicago.
