CHICAGO — A company is suing the city of Chicago for alleged breach of contract.
Cats Meow Ltd. filed a complaint on March 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the city refused to grant a business license the company had allegedly paid for, which allegedly caused it to sustain significant damages. The plaintiff says the city is wrongly enforcing an ordinance barring it from a business license, because the company does not owe money to the city.
The plaintiff seeks a restraining order against the defendant, court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Donna Ramey in Chicago.
