Chicago Behavioral Hospital allegedly failed to prevent women from being bitten by insect

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Chicago Behavioral Hospital for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Ruzana Bagramian filed a complaint on March 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant failed to keep its premises reasonably clean and safe.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she was bitten by some type of insect after she allegedly spent the night at the hospital. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to take steps to make sure its hospital beds were free of bugs.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for compensatory and punitive damages and court costs. She is represented by Jeffrey S. Deutschman of Deutschman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
