CHICAGO — A man is suing Pharmerica, Thorndale XI LLC and Avison Young-Chicago LLC for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Mohanad Alhamawendi filed a complaint on March 27 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he sustained severe physical injuries when he fell using a ladder substitute. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly allowing him to use a defective ladder substitute, despite allegedly knowing that it was in no shape to be used.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the minimum jurisdictional limits of this court, plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Boris Parad of Parad Law Offices P.C. in Northbrook.
