ABM Industries allegedly failed to safeguard employee personal information from data breaches

CHICAGO — A man has filed a class action lawsuit against ABM Industries Inc., claiming the company allowed his personal information to be stolen during a data breach.

Larry Wade filed a complaint on March 23 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant failed to implement sufficient cyber security measures to prevent its employees' personal information from being stolen.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, compensatory damages, punitive damages, injunctive relief, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Myles McGuire, Evan M. Meyers, Jad Sheikali and David Gerbie of McGuire Law P.C. in Chicago.
