CHICAGO — A woman is suing the DuSable Museum of African American History Inc. for alleged retaliation and wrongful discharge.
Leslie Guy filed a complaint on March 23 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants fired her for reporting problems within the museum to the museum's collection committee and chairman of the board of directors.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, interest, punitive damages and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Christopher A. Harris of Shield Law Firm LLC in Chicago.
