CHICAGO — A woman is suing Village of Northbrook, Realty & Mortgage Company and Manfredini Landscaping-Design for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Sharyl Weiss filed a complaint on March 14 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she slipped and fell on March 15, 2017, when she allegedly stepped on black ice, which allegedly caused her to sustain injuries to her right arm. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to warn her about the ice or remove it from the parking lot.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Ehsan Eftekhari of Eftekhari Law Offices LLC in Evanston.
