Swedish Covenant Hospital, others allegedly failed to provide proper diagnosis to prevent man's death

CHICAGO — A man is suing Swedish Covenant Hospital, Dr. James Morosco, Dr. Allan Adajar, Dr. Bruce Silver, Dr. Ben Flagel, Swedish Emergency Associates P.C., the Illinois Institute of Gynecology and Advanced Pelvic Surgery S.C., Diagnostic Radiology Specialists S.C. and Swedish Covenant Management Services Inc. for wrongful death and for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

George Boboc, independent administrator of the estate of Isabela Irzsa, filed a complaint on March 14 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Irzsa sustained serious physical injuries due to allegedly being diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly diagnose Irzsa's condition and provide the necessary treatment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court, plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Stephanie K. Nathanson and Michael T. Peterson of the Law Offices of Stephanie K. Nathanson in Chicago.
