CHICAGO — A woman is suing Manor Care of Palos Heights IL LLC and Heartland Employment Services LLC for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Lyn Gray, independent administrator of the estate of William Gray, filed a complaint on March 14 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging William Gray sustained several physical injuries, including malnutrition and side effects from medications. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise William Gray to make sure he was always properly fed and that his medications were properly administered before he died in April 2016.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Robert J. Rooth of the Rooth Law Firm in Evanston.
