Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center allegedly injured woman's iliac artery during procedure

CHICAGO — A patient is suing several doctors and medical facilities, citing alleged breach of duty.

Maria Escalante filed a complaint on April 12 in Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Kenji Muro, Dr. Mark Keldahl, Dr. Andrew Russeau, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and several others, alleging the defendants failed to provide her with proper medical care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges her iliac artery was injured during a procedure, which allegedly required her to undergo another procedure to repair.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional minimum of the court. She is represented by Michael T. Gill of Pfaff, Gill & Ports Ltd. in Chicago.
