CHICAGO — A worker is suing two companies, citing alleged negligence.

Mario Garcia filed a complaint on April 12 in Cook County Circuit Court against Property Adventures Corp. and Lakeshore Plumbing Inc., alleging he was injured on Oct. 17, 2016, when he allegedly stepped on a pipe and fell while performing his work duties at a construction site run by the defendants.

As a result, Garcia claims that he sustained multiple injuries, incurred significant medical expenses and suffered excruciating pain and mental anguish.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to remove the pipe.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount that satisfies the jurisdictional limits of the court, plus the cost of the suit. He is represented by Todd P. Klein of Gregorio & Marco Ltd. in Chicago.
