CHICAGO — A woman is suing Jewel-Osco, New Albertson's Inc. and Oakwood Contractors Inc. for alleged negligence.

Lois Kueker filed a complaint on April 12 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she fell as a result of stepping on an uneven surface in one of the aisles of Chicago Jewel store on March 30.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to warn her that the aisle floor was dangerous and uneven and for allegedly failing to operate, manage and maintain their premises in a reasonably safe manner.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of the court. She is represented by Timothy J. Cavanagh of Cavanagh Law Group in Chicago.
