Lexington Health Care Center of Orland Park allegedly failed to prevent individual from developing pressure ulcers

CHICAGO — A woman's family is suing a medical facility, citing alleged breach of duty and negligence.

Daintry McFadden, attorney-in-fact for Eddie Mae McFadden, filed a complaint on April 12 in Cook County Circuit Court against Lexington Health Care Center of Orland Park Inc., alleging Eddie Mae McFadden developed multiple pressure ulcers and skin breakdowns while at the defendant’s facility.

As a result, Eddie Mae McFadden allegedly sustained serious and permanent personal injuries, which allegedly caused great physical and emotional pain and suffering.


Robert Rooth

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately assess Eddie Mae McFadden's risk for skin breakdowns and prevent her from developing pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount greater than $50,000, plus the costs of the suit. She is represented by Robert J. Rooth of the Rooth Law Firm in Evanston.
