CHICAGO — A man is suing attorney Kevin Rogers and his practice, the Law Offices of Kevin Rogers, for alleged legal malpractice.

Raymond J. Bayster filed a complaint on April 16 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to provide him with proper legal services, when they allegedly failed to identify and pursue causes of action within the statute of limitations period and allowed a tolling agreement to expire.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to advise him that there was a cause of action against the parties involved in an agreement, which allegedly caused him to lose $300,000.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants, plus the costs of the suit and any further relief that may be just. He is represented by Thomas W. Gooch III of the Gooch Law Firm in Wauconda.
