Symphony of South Shore allegedly failed to prevent surgical site from getting infected

CHICAGO — A man is suing Symphony of South Shore for alleged breach of duty and negligence.

Rickie Mallett filed a complaint on May 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the surgical site on his left ankle became infected, which allegedly required antibiotics and additional surgical procedures to correct. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide him with proper medical care.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment greater than $50,000, plus attorney's fees and costs. He is represented by Matthew K. Henry of the Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates PC in Chicago.
