CHICAGO — A woman is suing Walmart for alleged negligence.
Elizabeth Mejias filed a complaint on May 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she slipped and fell on a liquid substance that allegedly was on the floor of a Walmart store in Bedford Park. As a result, the plaintiff claims that she sustained physical injuries.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for no more than $74,999.99. She is represented by Matthew M. Rundio of Krzak Rundio Law Group LLC in Chicago.
