Theorem Fund Services accused of using Opus Fund Services' proprietary info

CHICAGO — A company is suing Theorem Fund Services LLC and Stephen Giannone for alleged breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and tortious interference.

Opus Fund Services (USA) LLC filed a complaint on May 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants utilized plaintiff's confidential and proprietary information and trade secrets to further their own business interests and market their services. As a result, the plaintiff claims it has suffered and will continue to suffer damages and harm. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants, plus compensatory, punitive and exemplary damages and any other relief that the court deems just. The plaintiff is represented by Beth Ann Berger Zerman of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP in Chicago.
