CHICAGO — A woman is suing Manor Care of Oak Lawn East for alleged negligence.

Minerva Parham filed a complaint on May 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she suffered a fall and developed pressure ulcers while she was at the defendant's facility. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to supervise her to ensure she received proper medical to prevent falls and pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages in an amount that exceeds $50,000, plus attorney's fees and costs. She is represented by Matthew K. Henry of the Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates PC in Chicago.
