Advocate Good Shepherd, others allegedly failed to prevent patient from developing pressure ulcers

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Advocate Good Shepherd, Presence Holy Family Medical Center and Alden Estates of Barrington for alleged negligence.

Daniela Samborski, independent administrator of John Samborski, filed a complaint on May 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging John Samborski developed pressure ulcers. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly monitor John Samborski to prevent him from developing pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages in an amount that exceeds $50,000, plus any other relief that the court deems just. She is represented by Bruce D. Goodman of Steinberg, Goodman & Kalish in Chicago.
