Mary Clare Bonaccorsi, of Polsinelli’s Chicago office, was recently honored by Profiles in Diversity Journal as one of the magazine’s 2018 “Women Worth Watching.”
The 17th Annual Women Worth Watching® Awards celebrate 132 women leaders from around the globe for their professional achievements and their commitment to promoting diversity in the corporate world. The 2018 Women Worth Watching magazine, featuring profiles of all the honorees, will be published in August.
In her practice, Bonaccorsi serves as outside general counsel and trusted business adviser to health care and life sciences companies. Those clients include domestic and international pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical equipment suppliers, specialty pharmacies, home care providers, home infusion providers, hospice providers, pharmacy benefit managers, academic medical centers, hospitals and health systems, laboratories, ambulatory surgery centers, and dialysis providers.
As Polsinelli’s Health Care Litigation and Disputes practice chair, Bonaccorsi works closely with her clients’ legal and operational teams to devise and implement litigation avoidance strategies and provides counsel on operational, regulatory and compliance matters.
Before joining the firm, she served as Deputy General Counsel to a publicly-traded home infusion provider. She has successfully tried both civil and criminal cases before judges and juries in state and federal courts throughout the country, and has successfully led cases involving False Claims Act/qui tam claims, shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, unfair competition, and business torts. She also handles government and commercial payor disputes, audits and investigations.
Bonaccorsi was named Managing Partner of the firm’s Chicago office in 2017.
