CHICAGO — The parents of a minor are suing Midtown Athletics Clubs LLC and Tennis Corp. of America, alleging that insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.
Steven Greenbaum and Sheri Greenbaum filed a complaint in the Circuit Court of Cook County.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs' son allegedly fell May 14 and struck his head on a concrete wall while running and participating in a tennis class offered by the defendants. As a result, the Greenbaums claim their son suffered injuries, pain and disability, and they incurred substantial medical and hospital bills.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages greater than $50,000, plus interest, court costs, attorney's fees and other such relief deemed just and proper. They are represented by Daniel Madigan of Motherway & Napleton, LLP in Chicago.
