CHICAGO — A Chicago resident is suing Erica Madden, East Lake Management Group Inc. and the Chicago Housing Authority, citing alleged negligent supervision of a dangerous dog.

Abdul Aziz Khan filed a complaint June 27 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he was walking on a public sidewalk on June 11, 2015, when he was allegedly mauled, jumped on, bitten, clawed and attacked without provocation by Madden's large dog.

As a result, Khan claims he was seriously injured.

The plaintiff claims the defendants allegedly failed to warn pedestrians of the hazard.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks a judgment exceeding the jurisdictional limit of $50,000, plus costs of the lawsuit. He is represented by James Foley of Foley Law Group, LLC in Westmont.
