CHICAGO — A patient is suing PD Memorial Medical Center, Norwegian-American Hospital Inc., Ashley Kehoe RPA, and doctors Farkhunda Mazharuddin, Mary Eguia and Heather Dieperink, citing alleged negligence.
Elva Mendez filed a complaint June 27 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly and timely diagnose and treat her lymphoma, failed to order appropriate tests and failed to refer her for follow-up appointment.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages. She is represented by Michael Shinsky and Erin Doyle of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
