CHICAGO — A travel agent is suing Natalie Veprinsky and Let's Travel Now LLC, citing alleged breach of contract, breach of duty, and fraud.
Mariana Kofman and Best World Travel Inc. filed a complaint July 11 in Cook County Circuit Court.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Veprinsky, who was secretary and treasurer of Best World Travel, misappropriated the plaintiffs' funds for personal expenses, refused to pay commissions to agents and created a competing travel agency named Let's Travel Now to solicit and divert clients from Kofman's agency.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek a total accounting of their assets and payment based on the findings of that accounting, compensatory damages in excess of more than $100,000, costs, attorney's fees, interest and other relief the court deems just. They are represented by Boris Parad of Parad Law Offices PC in Northbrook.
