Former employee says Real Good Juice fired her for using sick leave

Wrongful term 04

CHICAGO — A former employee is suing Forest N Oak Holdings LLC, which does business as retailer Real Good Juice, citing alleged retaliation and violation of the Cook County Earned Sick Leave Ordinance.

Alexandria Radogna filed a complaint July 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant violated her rights to take a medical leave.

According to the complaint, Radogna was fired on Jan. 23, allegedly because she took intermittent leave because of a personal sickness and to care for her sick grandmother.

Radogna said the defendant allegedly failed to compensate her for earned sick leave and retaliated against her for exercising her right to use that sick leave.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks treble damages, back pay, front pay, reimbursement for lost benefits, compensatory and punitive damages, attorney's fees, costs and other relief the court deems just. She is represented by Jason Han of The Law Offices of Jason Han in Chicago.
