Swanson Martin & Bell issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
Associate Bryan E. Rogers was recently appointed by American Bar Association (ABA) President Robert Carlson to serve a three-year term on the ABA Standing Committee on Membership.
Rogers, who previously served as the Membership Director of the ABA Young Lawyers Division, began his term at the close of the 2018 Annual Meeting in Chicago and will continue through the 2022 Annual Meeting.
As one of only nine standing committee members, Rogers advocates for current and prospective ABA members, ensuring that the ABA mission and goals are met and that revenue is generated to continue the ABA's work. Rogers will also help direct the Marketing Department's efforts to increase membership beyond its current 350,000+ members.
