Ray J. Koenig III co-hosted the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel’s (ACTEC) Trust and Estate Talk podcast, “Litigation Issues Involving Children in Estate Planning” with Robert Sacks. Ray and Robert, who are Fellows of the ACTEC, discussed the numerous issues that can arise when minors are involved in a trust and estate litigation, such as when the parents of a minor want to live off the minor’s assets, either in the estate or the trust, and how lawyers can ensure that minors are bound by the outcome of a dispute and particularly if there is a potential settlement.
Ray is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and previously served as a member of its Fiduciary Litigation Committee. Ray is a Member in Clark Hill’s Litigation and Personal Legal Services Practice Groups. He also serves as the Managing Member of the Chicago office and on the Firm’s Executive Committee.
