Marriott International sues Tech Exec Networks for alleged unpaid bills

CHICAGO — Marriott Marquis Chicago is suing Tech Exec Networks Inc., alleging the Georgia-based corporation failed to pay an outstanding bill of more than $50,000 for sleeping rooms, banquet food and other services.

Marriott International Inc., doing business as Marriott Marquis Chicago, filed the complaint on Aug. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court against Tech Exec, alleging the Georgia corporation breached its duty of good faith and fair dealings on March 10, 2017. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for the sum of $44,106 in actual damages, $7.976 as liquidated damages, plus contractual pre- and post-judgment interest, plus attorney fees and costs of suit. They are represented by Jeremy J. Kramer of Kramer Law LLC in Northbrook.
