CHICAGO — An anesthesiology services company is suing Blue Island Hospital Co., doing business as Metrosouth Medical Center, citing alleged breach of contract.
Northstar Anesthesia filed a complaint on Sept. 4 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging it provided more than $1.25 million in anesthesia and anesthesia-related services to the hospitalMetrosouth Medical Center, but the defendant has refused to pay. The plaintiff is alleging unfair conduct.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant in the amount of $1.25 million plus late fees, interest, attorney fees, court costs, and other relief.
