Lawsuit alleges Norridge Gardens, Premier Healthcare Management contributed to man's death

CHICAGO – An independent administrator alleges a care facility in Norridge failed to provide proper nursing care to a relative, who died.

David John Brugger, as independent administrator of the estate of David K. Brugger, filed a complaint on Sept. 19 in Cook County Circuit Court against Norridge Gardens and Premier Healthcare Management LLC, alleging, in 2016, while a resident at Norridge Gardens, David K. Brugger fell multiple times and did not receive adequate nutrition or hydration. The suit states the decedent also developed Clostridium difficile infection and was inappropriately discharged. 

David K. Brugger died in February 2017, according to the complaint.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks financial damages for injuries, losses and damages, as alleged. He is represented by Benjamin Carter of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
