CHICAGO – A former resident of a Palos Heights nursing facility is seeking damages over the alleged care she received there.

Norma Duddy filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in Cook County Circuit Court against Park Villa Nursing and Rehab Center, alleging while she was a patient there, between Oct. 5-Oct. 16, 2016, the defendant failed to inform her physician and family of significant changes in her physical, mental or psychosocial status and failed to document changes to her skin integrity.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment of more than $50,000, plus attorney fees and costs as provided for by statute. She is represented by Trapp & Geller in Chicago.
