Niro Law Group alleges ProFoot failed to pay for services

CHICAGO – A Chicago legal firm alleges a New York company failed to pay it for its services.

Niro Law Group LLC filed a complaint on Sept. 24 in Cook County Circuit Court against ProFoot Inc. citing quantum meruit.

According to the complaint, Niro Law Group LLC represented ProFoot on its request to pursue an appeal and defend it in another petition over attorneys' fees. The plaintiff alleges it performed the legal services expecting to receive payments and the defendant alleges no contract existed to prescribe payment for the plaintiff's services.

The plaintiff alleges the defendant has failed to pay it for any services it rendered on the defendant's behalf.

The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount to be determined at trial and any other relief determined to be reasonable and just by the court. It is represented by Joseph Marconi and Victor Pioli of Johnson & Bell LTD in Chicago.
