CHICAGO – A Palos Heights dentist alleges a Matteson parent posted a false review about him on Yelp.
Christopher J. Neal DDS LTD, doing business as Chicago Kidds Pediatric Dentistry, filed a complaint on Oct. 9 in Cook County Circuit Court against Irem Arseven alleging defamation.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff performed dental work on the defendant's child. The plaintiff alleges on Sept. 13, the defendant posted an allegedly false, negative review on Yelp accusing the dentist of performing unnecessary work for profit and not being a "real dentist." The plaintiff alleges the defendant has refused to remove the review.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant injured his business reputation with the review.
The plaintiff seeks judgement against defendant in an amount to be proven at trial and for whatever other relief that the court deems proper. He is represented by Stuart M. Nagel and Jay C. Orseno of Chalmers & Nagel PC in Chicago.
