Woman alleges AMB Industry Groups valet driver struck her while she walking out of facility

CHICAGO – A woman alleges a valet driver struck her while she was leaving a medical facility in Chicago.

Anisha Lewis filed a complaint on Oct. 29 in Cook County Circuit Court against ABM Industry Groups LLC and others, alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 21, 2017, the plaintiff was walking out of Midwest Orthopedics at Rush to be picked up. At the same time, a valet driver for AMB Industry Groups allegedly drove a vehicle in reverse and struck the plaintiff.

The plaintiff alleges the driver operated the vehicle without keeping a safe lookout and failed to back the vehicle safely.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $50,000, proper compensation, plus costs. She is represented by Anthony R. Elman of Elman Law Group LLC in Chicago.
