Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Christina M. Sanfelippo, who received the 2018 Rising Star Award from the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
IWIRC is the premier organization for women in the restructuring and insolvency professions with a global membership of more than 1,200 attorneys, bankers, corporate-turnaround professionals, financial advisers and other restructuring practitioners. Sanfelippo serves as a programming co-chair for IWIRC’s Chicago Network, and was selected for her exceptional leadership and commitment to the professional development of women in the insolvency and restructuring industries on the local, national and international levels.
An associate in the firm’s Chicago office, Sanfelippo focuses her practice in financial restructuring and bankruptcy law, representing debtors, trustees and creditors in a range of Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings. Sanfelippo is also an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and currently serves as the Communications Manager of the ABI’s Young and New Members Committee.
Sanfelippo was honored at the 25th Annual IWIRC Fall Conference on October 28 in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her B.S. in Finance from the University of Minnesota.
