CHICAGO – A widow alleges the negligent care of two physicians and a hospital contributed to her husband's death.

Sophie Sadelski, as independent executor of the estate of John Sadelski, filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against physicians Nouri Al-Khaled and Mohammad Sarhan, and Advocate Christ Medical Center, alleging wrongful death.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 18, 2016, John Sadelski went to Christ Medical Center for a lower right extremity angiogram to clear a thrombosis. However, the defendants allegedly caused a tear in plaintiff's artery that led to excessive bleeding, numerous surgeries and contributed to his death on March 2.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $50,000. She is represented by Thomas M. Paris in Chicago.
