HSPRD Partner Deane B. Brown was part of the recent presentation of a magnificent portrait of Abraham Lincoln to the Circuit Court of Cook County. The portrait is considered Lincoln’s favorite of himself.
The portrait was presented by Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans and the leaders of the Illinois Judges Association and Foundation, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Foundation and the Illinois State Historical Society. Deane is the First Vice President of the Illinois Bar Foundation, which supports legal aid agencies throughout Illinois and assists lawyers and their families in need.
Deane has earned a highly regarded reputation for her legal work in the area of employment law, representing executives in negotiating employment and executive compensation agreements, severance agreements, discrimination claims and non-compete matters. For the past several years, Deane has been named by Illinois Super Lawyers to the list of Top 100 Lawyers in Illinois as well as the Top 50 Women Lawyers.
