CHICAGO – A patron of a Chicago tavern alleges she was injured when an underage person hit her with a beer bottle.

Sylvia Saba filed a complaint on Dec. 5 in Cook County Circuit Court against Nick & Howard LLC and Rockit Ranch LLC, both doing business as The Underground Chicago, and an underaged patron, alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, between Dec. 8 and Dec. 9, 2017, Saba was at The Underground Chicago and was violently struck by an underaged customer with a glass beer bottle. Saba alleges she sustained severe and permanent, internal and external injuries.

The plaintiff alleges the Underground defendants unlawfully permitted and sold alcohol to an underage patron, who became intoxicated.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks a sum to exceed the statutory limits. She is represented by Jennifer P. Irmen of Irmen Law Group LLC in Chicago.
