Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Global Transportation Finance Shareholder Francis X. Nolan, III has been named as one of the Top 10 Maritime Lawyers globally as part of Lloyd’s List’s “2018 Top 100 Most Influential People in Shipping” series. Lloyd’s List has been an authority on maritime news since 1734. He is one of only three Americans named.
Lloyd’s List cited Mr. Nolan’s “reputation as a leading maritime finance attorney” and his election as President of the Maritime Law Association of the United States in 2018 as well as his “work this year in drafting changes to Liberia’s maritime laws, to allow those who hold title to vessels in lease structures to record their bareboat or demise charter as preferred mortgages.”
