Arden Courts of South Holland allegedly failed to protect resident from three falls

CHICAGO – A South Holland care facility is alleged to have failed to protect a resident from falls.  

Alphenie Williams, by his power of attorney Alphenie I. Williams, filed a complaint on Dec. 3 in Cook County Circuit Court against Arden Courts of South Holland, citing the Nursing Home Care Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was admitted to the defendants' facility in December 2017 and was at a high risk of falls. The suit states the plaintiff fell three times in January.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to provide adequate supervision to prevent falls.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation of more than $50,000. The plaintiff is represented by Matthew K. Henry of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates PC in Chicago.
