CHICAGO – A Palos Hills woman is seeking damages from a physician and medical facility after she suffered a stroke.
Deborah A. Herrick filed a complaint on Nov. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court against Associated Urological Specialists LLC and physician George Sreckovic, alleging medical negligence.
According to the complaint, between Sept. 26, 2016, and Dec. 6, 2016, Herrick sought treatment from defendants. She alleges the defendants' acts or omissions caused her to have a stroke.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed its duty to refrain from ordering and performing a lithotripsy because of her high blood pressure.
The plaintiff seeks judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by Jerome A. Vinkler of Vinkler Law Offices LTD in Burr Ridge.
